During the time it was established it had four rooms which were for prehistory, archives, protohistory, and folk arts, traditions, and crafts. The prehistory room had a lot of items that were linked to pebble culture, and also material from the cliff of Amgamma. There are also Stone Age implements, and axes with helve holes, obsidian arrowheads, quartz, and nether millstones. The museum had a reproduction of ochre and the hunting scene belonging to the first millennium B.C. The collection had a lot of baked bricks, which was attributed to the Babalia people and also to the Boulala. These items were found at the Bouta Kabira sanctuary which has a lot of bronze objects, human masks, and also bone tools.
There are many artifacts and musical instruments that are a major collection here. This is a place that is located around 800 km which lies to the southeast of N’djamena which is a major Chad location. Zakouma is another place which lies near this place and this is a beautiful paradise which has the sights of giraffes, elephants, lions, and wildebeests along with primates, antelopes, and the best kind of avifauna. March and April is the best time to visit this place and June to October is not the right time to visit as it rains during this time.
